MRI Non-Ferrous/Non-Metal Wheelchair​

Faraday Shielding is pleased to present a wheelchair designed specifically for MRI application.  Completely free of metal of any sort.  Constructed of high strength polymers with plastic ball bearings, there is zero risk creating false alarms with ferrous metal detectors or wheeling the patient into the MRI suite.

MRI Bariatric Stainless Steel Stretcher

A 12: swing down side rail for easy accessibility and patient safety, this stretcher has a weight capacity of 270kgs.  Fowler back adjusts from 0 to 75 degrees with 15 positions to provide optimum patient comfort.  A non-marring bumper protects all sides of the stretcher.  Includes four locking casters and has a 55 x 78 cm storage tray.

FMDS-100 Ferromagnetic Detector

The Dual Pillar System is ideal for automatic ferromagnetic detection in doorways and hallways inside an MRI area. 

 

Safescan Dual Pillar Systems provide the highest level of functional sensitivity to Ferromagnetic material. 

 

Equipped with both visual and audio alerts, the unit provides a warning as you approach and audible alert when you pass with ferromagnetic material.  Wall mounted, a GPO is required at one of the Pillar positions.

 

The Ferromagnetic Detector is available in a single pillar for areas where you cannot mount detectors on both walls, as well as an “on –demand” ferromagnetic scanner for pre-screening in waiting/dressing areas.
