Faraday Pty Ltd offer a wide range of options for the fit out of your MRI suite. All the products we use are MRI compatible and are designed with functionality and durability in mind. We also supply and install a wide range of visual enhancements and lighting solutions to make patients feel more comfortable in the MRI environment.
Faraday’s highly skilled, in-house tradesman are capable of performing all facets of the MRI suite construction from magnetic shielding, RF shielding and fitout of the MRI suite.`
Faraday can work with your design team to develop custom solutions and we know what can and can’t be done in an MRI environment.
Faraday also work closely with third party equipment suppliers to ensure installation of cabling and pipework is integrated into the build.
Accoustic Wall Panels
MRI scanners produce a high level of acoustic noise.
Faraday believes that the best way to deal with this noise is to correctly treat the surrounding walls to reduce transmission noise. We can provide advice on how to achieve the best acoustic performance during the construction process.
Transmission noise, however, is only part of the problem, which is why the standard Faraday fit out employs the use of the highest quality acoustic wall panels available.
Acoustic panels control reverberation noise inside the MRI suite, meaning less noise at the door and window and a more comfortable environment for the patient and the operators.
Our acoustic panels are available in a wide range of colours and can be mixed and matched to suit your style. The panels are finished with a standard anodised aluminium trim which can be powder coated to match the panel colour upon request.
Panels are 50mmm thick, made from 100 % polyester and are certified low VOC making them perfect for the healthcare environment. The panels are durable and easy to clean and provide excellent reverberation performance (NRC 1.0)
If your MRI is on an external wall of a building, why not take advantage of natural light to give your patients a connection to the outside world?
Faraday can utilise the same clearview window technology used in our control room windows to “bring the outside in”.
MRI suites require specialist lighting systems which prevent interference from affecting the MRI system.
In the past lighting solutions in MRI suites have been of poor quality, with short bulb life and dark, dingy light levels.
Faraday Pty Ltd has developed a lighting solution specifically designed for use in MRI suites. Our lighting system uses high output, state of the art LED downlights to produce a bright, vibrant light.
Faraday has tested the LED lights in our own RF shielded test lab and can guarantee that no interference is produced by our lighting system. We also test our system in a high magnetic field to ensure the performance of our lights is not affected by the MRI scanner.
Faraday can provide a lighting layout for your MRI suite upon request.
Faraday LED lighting systems can be also be retrofitted to existing MRI suites.
